Dentro de un gran vecindario como StuyTown, se observa la ausencia de un espacio comunitario cubierto donde se pueda socializar, jugar, hacer ejercicio e incluso nadar. Se propone ubicar en el núcleo del barrio esta estructura, tan solo visible por un techo de acero y cristal sobresaliente del suelo. Esta albergaría bajo el cielo un espacio permeable a la ciudad, donde fomentar la vida de una comunidad diversa y activa.

Within a big neighborhood like StuyTown, an indoor community space available for socializing, playing, exercising, and swimming is missing. Our proposal is to locate at the heart of the area a structure that materializes from the ground into a glass and steel roof. Under the sky, the interior would harbor an ample space away from the city that promotes the active life of the community.

Dans un grand quartier comme StuyTown, il manque un espace communautaire couvert pour socialiser, jouer, faire de l'exercice et même nager. On propose de placer cette structure au cœur du coin, la faisant visible par un toit d'acier et de verre surplombant le sol. Celui-ci abriterait sous le ciel un espace perméable à la ville, qui stimule la vie d’une communauté diverse et active.
